Advanced Pipeline Analysis with PIRAMID
C-FER’s PIRAMID software is one of the most advanced and comprehensive tools for evaluating pipeline risk and developing optimized maintenance plans.
The training program introduces users to the engineering principles used in the software and shows users how PIRAMID can be used in their day-to-day pipeline integrity management activities. Users will also be shown how PIRAMID can be used to prepare information for regulatory compliance audits.
Reliability-based Design and Assessment for Natural Gas Pipelines
The purpose of the course is to familiarize participants with the basic principles of Reliability Based Design and Assessment (RBDA). Where applicable, the course can also include how RBDA can be implemented according to Annex O of CSA Z662.
Attendees will learn about the basic concepts of limit states and RBDA, how to set reliability targets, and how to use the methodology in making design and maintenance decisions. They will learn a step by step process to apply RBDA in conformance with the requirements of Annex O.
